After change of the responsibility of Mr. Massey, he went for directing Middle East Campus Crusade for Christ ministry and they also served as touring representatives of Campus Crusade for Christ International as Philippines for three years. After short time Mr. Elwin Fiaz Gill directed Pakistan Campus Crusade for Christ. Professor Daniel Bukhsh an extraordinary of the scripture came to the leadership and the Lord expanded the boarders of the ministry.
In 1974 Karachi City was introduced with the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. In 1975 Mr. Aziz Mehmood took the challenge to reach Rawalpindi with the message of our Lord through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Sahiwal, Faisalabad and Sargodha and then Sialkot took their turn to have ministry established. Praise the Lord for the sincerity, dedication and contented lives of our staff. Due to the financial crunch in the ministry from 1974 1976 Mr. Bailey Marks who was then the Director of affairs for the South Pacific Asia promoted to form a new region known as Middle East with Mr. & Mrs. Massey as the Director of Affairs. The couple whose roots are deep down in Pakistan took a very keen interest to do the best for the ministry with their personal involvement and investment. They even made request to Dr. Bright to come to Pakistan. Second visit of Dr. & Mrs. Bright in Pakistan was in April 1977.
In Year 1976 three staff including the National Director Prof, Daniel Bukhsh was sent to the States for the training in Here’s Life Strategy. Mr. Hal Jones was the Here’s Life Coordinator in the Middle East in 1977. In 1978, Rev. Zahiruddin was appointed as the Coordinator Here’s Life Pakistan. New Staff for Here’s Life was taken and thus five more stations were opened i.e. Hyderabad, Khairpur, Sukkur, and
then Peshawar. Here’s Life Campaign were launched with the collaboration of the local Churches in Lahore, Karachi, Sahiwal, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Vehari and in 7 other Districts and towns.
In 1982 an Institute of Biblical Studies was organized in Karachi when sad news heard that Professor Bukhsh our National Director submitted resignation on his own accord with his own personal conviction. Then Rev. Zahiruddin was asked to take up the responsibility. Rev. & Mrs. Zahiruddin prayerfully accepted the challenge to direct the ministry in Pakistan, on 4th October 1982.
In 1982 “Jesus” film was produced with a specific aim of evangelism with limited funds in mind and dire need of evangelism, the staff accepted the challenge and with three old projectors started the operational work. Many times oru staff was refused to board on the bus. So they had to carry the film equipment on their shouders. All these difficulties never could dishearten our staff. Film ministry has proved an extra-ordinary effective media to reach the masses with visual aid. It has done well to the nominal Christians and the non-Christian alike. Many Hindu tribesmen have accepted the Lord and are baptized. In Punjab many Muslim Villages have invited our Film Teams to see the Story of Christ and have joyfully professed the spiritual blessings they received. In many Christian Villages where there was a split in the community, these parties are patched up after looking a secrfice given by our Lord on the Cross. Many of them who believed in Charms and amulets have forsaken their old ungodly ways.
The Lord blessed the ministry with many blessings and in particular the Film Ministry was richly boosted. The Lord God provided us 8 new vehicles, 6 new projectors, 7 new generators and 9 good film teams. Though to reach 56000 villages in Pakistan 9 Jesus film trams are far too little number yet the sincerity, hard labor and staff’s readiness gives us a vision to pray for more laborers and film teams to reach our beloved country with the good news.
In 1987 a Jesus Film Ministry was introduced in Quetta, another province of Pakistan by challenging Maj. Maqsood Masih, who then went to be with our Lord Jesus in heaven in June 1994. A God feared couple was challenged in Quetta on June 14, 1994 who worked as Associated Staff till December 1996 and
became a full time staff from 1997 and expanded the Campus Crusade for Christ Ministry in 06 cities of Balochistan with Jesus Film Staff.
Rev .Zahiruddin formed a Governing Council on May 31, 1997, the country divided in Regions and Regional Directors were appointed for each Region, Sindh, Balchistan, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi and N.W.F.P Under the directions of all Regional Directors, Campus, Community and Coverage Ministries were promoted in all regions in 2000.
